Delores Kopp | Mrs. Kopp is a college-level speech and communications instructor who has, for the past 15 years, taught Basic Public Speaking, Business and Professional Communications, Interpersonal Communications and Writing for the Electronic Broadcast Media at North Carolina State University, Pellissippi State Community College and Roane State Community College and directly to corporate groups.
She has developed and taught a one-of-a-kind internet based Business and Professional Communications course. Her professional experience has included work as a paralegal on the TVA Uranium Cartel case and on the defense side for a number of products liability cases. She has written and appeared in television commercials, provided orals proposal coaching and served as the community relations/public outreach coordinator for a variety of non-profit organizations. |
Steve Kopp | Mr. Kopp is a licensed attorney with over 26 years of experience as a practicing attorney, and as an industry and government consultant primarily in the areas of environmental, health and safety compliance, quality assurance, hazardous and radioactive waste management and transportation.
As a former Assistant General Counsel with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation he represented the Department in a variety of civil and criminal courts and before the Tennessee Air Quality, Water Quality, Surface Mining and Hazardous Waste Management Boards. As a consultant, Mr. Kopp has written air quality, water quality and hazardous waste permit applications, developed hazardous waste facility closure applications, and assisted clients to meet their environmental permitting and reporting requirements. As a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager, Mr. Kopp has helped his clients manage and transport their hazardous wastes in a safe and compliant manner. Mr. Kopp has managed the environmental compliance, nuclear facility safety, quality assurance, procedure writing and training programs for a hazardous and radioactive waste management company. He has developed and provided technical training, has led a number of environmental and safety compliance assessments and quality assurance assessments and has served as the meeting facilitator and as the public outreach coordinator for a number of non-profit organizations. Mr. Kopp has written and reviewed a variety of contracts for clients and has helped them to develop and pursue contract claims. Mr. Kopp has managed or participated in a number of proposals as proposal manager, proposal strategy developer, technical writer, orals participant and red team reviewer.
